File Upload
Upload a file to turn it into a table you own. Drop it onto the canvas, or open Import → Upload and choose it from your computer. You can drop several files at once and they are imported one after another.
Only the model's owners (the managers of its space) can upload.
Formats and sizes
| Format | Extensions | Largest file |
|---|---|---|
| CSV and TSV | .csv, .tsv | 250 MB |
| Parquet | .parquet, .pq | 200 MB |
| Excel | .xlsx, .xlsm | 200 MB |
| Older spreadsheets | .xls, .xlsb, .ods | 25 MB |
SQLite files (.sqlite, .db) can't be uploaded. Add them as a Local SQLite connection instead.
CSV and TSV options
Mycorr reads a sample of the file and guesses the settings. Check the preview and change any that are wrong:
| Option | What it sets |
|---|---|
| Encoding | The file's character encoding, for files that aren't UTF-8 |
| Delim | The character between fields: comma, semicolon, tab and others |
| Quote | The character around quoted fields |
| Header | Whether the first row holds column names |
| Number format | Whether numbers use a dot or a comma as the decimal separator |
| Skip | How many rows to skip at the top, such as a title above the data |
Excel workbooks
A workbook opens Choose tables to import, which shows every sheet. A sheet can hold more than one table:
- This whole tab imports the sheet as one table.
- To pick out a table, drag across it on the sheet, header row included. Add as many as the sheet holds, and give each a Table title.
- Import transposed is for a table whose field names run down the first column instead of across the top row.
After the upload
The table belongs to the model, so anyone who can edit the model can edit it. Its history starts with the upload, and you can checkpoint and release it like any other table.
