Table Import

Importing reuses a table that lives in another model, without copying it. Open Import → Mycorr to see what you can bring in, then drag a table onto the canvas.

What you can import

The list is grouped by where things come from, such as This organization, your Personal organization, and Shared with me. Inside each you'll find:

  • Models and their tables
  • Datasets: curated sets of related tables. Dragging one imports its members.
  • Recipes: saved queries. Dragging one opens it so you can pick its options and run it; the result lands as a table.
  • The public catalog

Search tables, models, datasets… finds anything by name. A table that is Already in this model is marked.

Anyone who can edit the model can import into it.

You read the release

An imported table shows the owner's release, the version they published, not their work in progress. It stays on that release until someone in your model chooses to move on:

  • When the owner releases a newer version, Sync to latest release appears on the table.
  • The table's history lists its Releases, with In use on the one your model reads.

An imported table is read-only in your model. Its owner changes it in its own model.

Asking for access

If you can see a table but can't import it, for example because you only view its model, dragging it sends its owners a request. You'll see "Requested access … pending approval", and you can import it once they share it with you. See Sharing Tables.

When access ends

If the owner revokes your access, the import becomes a read-only stub: it stays on your canvas, marked as no longer accessible, without its rows.
