Apps Early access

An app is an AI agent that works on your tables for you. A Design app drafts new tables with you, round by round. A Research app fills tables you lend it with data it finds on the web, on a schedule.

Early access

Design and Research apps are open to selected organizations while they are in early access. Elsewhere they show as Coming soon in the app chooser. Capture is coming soon for everyone.

A Design app's page: version 2 applied, the list of changes from version 1, the Approved tab confirming six tables created in the Recycling Value Chain model, and a graph of the drafted tables.
A Design app after its second round was applied: what changed, what was created, and the tables as a graph.

The kinds of app

Open Apps in the sidebar. The page, Applications, lists your apps with their state, such as Drafting or Applied. New app asks "What should this app do?" and offers a card for each kind:

KindWhat it doesRead more
Design"Drafts new tables with you, round by round." You describe what you want to track; the agent proposes tables, columns, types, units and links; you review, ask for changes, and apply the version you like to a model.Design apps
Research"Fills tables you lend it from the web." You lend it tables and write a brief; it runs on a schedule, searching the web, adding and editing rows, and asking you when it is unsure.Research apps
Capture"Collects readings and scans from phones in the field."Coming soon

The two work well together: design the tables with a Design app, then start a Research app from that design to fill them.

How apps work on your data

An app reaches only what you gave it:

  • A Design app writes only to the model you picked as its target, and only when you click to apply a version. The tables are created on your behalf, as if you had made them.
  • A Research app runs unattended under its own identity, never yours. It reads and writes only the tables you lend it, each lent to read or to write, and you can lend a table only if you could share it.

Everything an app writes is an ordinary change to an ordinary table: it shows on the canvas and in the table's history, and you can go back to an earlier checkpoint if you don't want it. Apps work through the same MCP server an assistant uses, so the same permissions and limits apply.

An app is owned by the managers of the space it was created from. Deleting it ends the app; tables it was lent keep every row it wrote.

What apps cost

Apps call AI models, and research apps also look things up on the web. Who pays depends on the organization:

OrganizationAI modelsWeb lookups
PersonalA one-time $3 trial on Mycorr's own model, then your own key30 included, once
Any other organizationThe organization's own key, added by an owner or adminPaid web lookups are not available yet

The chooser's badges say how each kind would run, such as Trial, or what stands in the way, such as Needs a key, Trial used or Web lookups used, with a link to the fix. Every app also carries its own cost limit, which it never spends past. See Model providers and keys.
